Here's a closeup of the axle bearing surface. The lower shiny area is created by the axle oil seal. The upper shiny area is where the bearing is riding. I did not see any deep scratches, so I'm assuming the bearing and axle is OK. Picture taken on : Sun Oct 12 11:59:26 PDT 2003   (8/11)
